My Story

In my late fifties, I discovered that starting over wasn't a choice. It was a necessity.

After my marriage ended in divorce, I was forced to start over financially. Like many women, I had spent years focused on building a life, supporting a family, and putting other people's needs ahead of my own. Suddenly, I was facing a future that looked very different than the one I had planned.

The truth is, I was terrified.

I wasn't 25 years old with unlimited time to figure things out. I was approaching 60 and needed to build a meaningful, sustainable career that could provide financial security and give me a sense of purpose. What I didn't realize at the time was that the very experiences I thought had put me behind were actually my greatest advantage.

The skills I had developed over decades of life, communication, problem-solving, resilience, empathy, and relationship-building, turned out to be exactly what clients were looking for in a real estate agent.

One month before my 57th birthday, I earned my real estate license. Over the next several years, I built a thriving business and earned more than $2 million in commissions. More importantly, I discovered that success in real estate isn't reserved for the young, the flashy, or the naturally sales-oriented.

Why I Created The Sage Agent

I know there are women out there asking the same question I once asked myself: "Is it too late for me to build something meaningful?"

My answer is simple.

No.

In many ways, your greatest advantage is that you're bringing decades of life experience with you.

Your age isn't a disadvantage.

It's your superpower.

But if I'm being honest, it took me some time to figure this out.

I spent money on things I didn't need, invested time in strategies that didn't work, and learned many lessons through trial and error. Looking back, I often wish I'd had someone who could have shown me what truly mattered, what could safely be ignored, and how to build a successful business without all the unnecessary detours.

That's exactly why I created The Sage Agent.
